Maharashtra Govt Allows Theatres To Open From November 5

The Maharashtra government on Wednesday announced the guidelines for unlock. As per the state, government order Cinema halls and multiplexes will be allowed to open. But with 50% of their seating capacity. This will be outside the containment zones.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the good news, He tweeted, “BIGGG NEWS… Cinema halls / multiplexes in #Maharashtra given permission to reopen by the Government of #Maharashtra from tomorrow [5 Nov 2020]… With 50% of their seating capacity… #OfficialOrder dated 3 Nov 2020.”

  • The government notification issued today said, No eatables will be allowed inside the theatres, cinema halls, multiplexes.
  • Drama theatres will also be allowed to open with 50% seating capacity. They will have to adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols.
  • Yoga institutes to resume operations too. Also, swimming pools used for training state, national and international level athletes will also be allowed to open
  • The order adds that stadiums for indoor games will also be allowed to open from November 5, states the order.
