Fed up with a woman’s persistent demand for illicit sex, a 38-year-old man in Maharashtra’s Parbhani district committed suicide, informed police on Monday. The incident took place around 500 km from Mumbai.

According to the incident, as said by the police, Sachin Mitkari was found hanging from the ceiling of his house on the Parbhani-Vasmat road on Sunday. Mitkari used to work in a hospital at Parbhani along with the woman. After being informed by the neighbours about the incident, police reached the spot. Later, the body was sent for post-mortem.

During investigation, police have found a suicide note of Mitkari in which he had accused the woman of harassing him and insisting on having sexual relationship with him. Quoting the note, the probing team said that the accused used to blackmail the deceased.
