A 16-year old girl alleged that she was raped in Gurugram earlier this month. Following her complaint, a zero FIR was registered, police said. The victim lives in Northwest Delhi.
According to the police complaint filed at Gurugram Sector’s 51 police station, the girl met a person who has been identified as Ankit. She met him through common friend last month.
“He invited me to Gurugram on October 8, took me to a hotel and raped me several times after making me consume a cold drink spiked with a sedative,” the teenager told News Agency IANS.
She further said, “the accused warned me not to disclose the crime to anyone and threatened me with dire consequences otherwise”, she said.
The victim was not even aware of his residential address and even his mobile phone was switched off since the sexual assault.
