Fire breaks out in Mumbra, rescue operation is underway

A Major fire broke out in Mumbra, area of Thane district, leaving three to five godowns gutted. The fire broke out at Acchar Gali, near Sagar Hotel in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

According to the report, several people have been rescued from the spot. Two fire engines and water tankers rushed to the spot. Fire fighting operations are currently underway.

Less than a month, this was the second major fire break out incident in Mumbra, on September 12, a fire broke out at the godwon of the Khan compound in Shil Phata, area which is merely five km from Mumbra.

There were several picture uploaded on social media, colossal flames engulfing the godown could be seen as black smoke rose from the fire. Officers could be seen tending to the fire. Several people were seen near the site. There have been no reports of any casualty yet.
