Neetu Kapoor marks one month of Rishi Kapoor’s demise with emotional note

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on 30th April 2020 after a long battle with cancer. His demise has left a void in Bollywood, fans, well-wishers, and loved ones are still in utter shock and grief. Rishi Ji’s wife Neetu Kapoor and daughter Riddhima have been trying to keep his memories alive by sharing them on social media.

Neetu Kapoor has shared a throwback picture with late husband Rishi Kapoor, along with lyrics of the song Wish Me Luck As You Wave Me Goodbye, on the actor’s one month death anniversary.

Posting the picture on Instagram, Neetu wrote the lyrics of the song, “Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye. Cheerio, here I go on my way. With a cheer, not a tear, in your eye. Give me a smile, I can keep for a while. In my heart, while I’m away.”

The emotional post received immense love from friends and fans. Daughter Riddhima Kapoor reacted to the post with heart emojis. Soni Razdan commented, “So lovely,” along with heart emojis.

Not only Neetu Kapoor but daughter Riddhima too posted a picture remembering her father with a poem by Maya Angelou. She wrote, “A Great Soul” by Maya Angelou: “A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.” We love you, Papa.

She also shared a throwback pic where she and Ranbir are seen cuddling their father Rishi Kapoor.

Rishi Kapoor’s will be seen in yet-to-be-released movie ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ co-starring Juhi Chawla.
