Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre who has been undergoing treatment for ‘high grade’ cancer in New York since July, had shared on social media that she is returning home in Mumbai for a short break and also that the “fight is not yet over”.
In the early hours of the morning, the actress was spotted at the Mumbai airport with her husband Goldie Behl.
Goldie and Sonali were seen greeting the media with an endearing smile.
The actress was returning home after months of chemotherapy sessions in New York.
Sonali radiating optimism was dressed in a blue and black attire.
She added that “I’m happy and looking forward to this happy interval.”
Sonali has been sharing about her fight with the deadly disease on social media, with uplifting messages.
Her husband stood like a tower of strength with his wife who is a fighter in the true sense.
