Superstar Akshay Kumar will be seen romancing Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar in his upcoming release Prithviraj. The historical drama marks the debut of Miss World. The historical period drama being helmed by director Chandraprakash Dwivedi and it is based on the life of king Prithviraj Chauhan.
Manushi has shared her first look from the film and we are quite excited,
Manushi Chhillar gave us a sneak peek into her mysterious persona. It is a silhouetted version of her photo from the sets. in the photo, Manushi appears to sport her hair in a long braid.
In the film, Akshay Kumar will essay the role of Prithviraj and Manushi will portray his wife Sanyogita. Earlier, Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar had shared glimpses of puja to seek blessings for their new venture Prithviraj.
Describing her role as a princess in Prithviraj, Manushi had said to IANS, “It is a huge responsibility to play princess Sanyogita. She was a powerful personality and she stood up for what is right and took the most important decisions of her life by herself. Her life is an extremely important chapter in Indian history and I will try my best to play her as accurately as possible.”
Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Akshay Kumar has booked Diwali 2020 for Prithviraj release.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar also has ‘Sooryavanshi’ in his kitty. The Rohit Shetty directorial brings back the much-loved jodi of the Khiladi Kumar and Katrina Kaif back on the big screen once again after a long hiatus.
