R Madhavan Slams Congress Party For Trolling PM Narendra Modi On Twitter

Multilingual actor R Madhavan took a dig at Congress Party for making fun of Indian Prime Minister Narendra by posting a video of him along with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Twitter. R Madhavan took to Twitter and called Congress party’s act of putting such video on social media a demeaning to the nation.

The video comes a day after when China blocked the resolution of India’s attempt to designate the chief of the Pakistan-based terror group as a “global terrorist” by putting a technical hold on the proposal. Madhavan called the video a bad taste and a crass attempt and pointed out that Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of India.

Madhav wrote: “This is in such bad taste.” Whatever the political rivalry-Shri Modi Ji is the Prime Minister of this country and you are demeaning this nation in front of China in this video with such crass attempt at humour.NOT expected from this Twitter handle.

He has also written to one Congress member: “Amazed that you see this as a “lecture”. Really?? An “Artist” is no stranger to criticism and have never had a problem with it. This is Mockery -the head of this nation w.r.t China. It’s laughable that you are making this political.”

It is to be noted that the proposal of declaring Massod Azhar as a global terrorist by UN Security Council was supported by France and the UK and US but China blocked India’s bid for the fourth time in the last 10 years.
