Raj Kumar Santoshi’s rom-com Andaz Andaz Apna featured Salman Khan and Aamir Khan in leading roles. The cult classic is one of the most loved film of B-Town. Fans have often wondered if there will be a sequel to the much loved movie. Well, their wish is being granted as writer Dilip Shukla has confirmed that Aamir and Salman will definitely feature in the ‘must watch’ film’.
Shukla in a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle has confirmed that the sequel of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ is on the anvil. Talking about the sequel Shukla told the daily, “I am writing the sequel. It is not easy to pen a sequel. I have to bring something more attractive in comparison to the earlier one.”
He further added, “The sequel cannot be complete without Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. They will be there along with three other new cast members.” Shukla even revealed that the daughter of producer Vinay Sinha, Preeti Sinha has asked him to pen the sequel.
Many names, including that of Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, and Sushant Singh Rajput were doing the rounds. Singh has been a part of films like Dil Dhadakne Do and Bajirao Mastani, which did give him a chance to display his skills in the comedy genre but he has never been a part of a full-fledged comedy feature.
We just cannot wait for the movie to go on floor soon.
On work front, Salman Khan will soon start work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah. The movie also has Alia Bhatt in a pivotal role. Salman also has Dabangg 3, a remake of Veteran and Kick 2 in his kitty.
