Dabangg 3: Salman Khan introduces Pramod Khanna who will be playing his father
Pramod Khanna will be seen as Salman Khan's on-screen father Prajapati Panday in Dabangg 3
Pramod Khanna, late Vinod Khanna’s brother will play Salman Khan’s on-screen father Prajapati Pandey in Dabangg 3. Salman took to his Instagram account to make the announcement. Pramod Khanna will be playing the role of Vinod Khanna in the movie. He shared a video where we see Salman introducing Pramod Khanna and wrote, “Introducing Pramod Khanna”. In the video, we also see Sonakshi Sinha and Prabhu Deva.

Vinod Khanna played Salman’s father in both the Dabangg movies but he passed away in 2017. Pramod Khanna is perfect for the role of Prajapati Panday.
The shoot for Dabangg 3 has already started and Salman had also shot for the title song of the movie at Ahilya Fort with 500 background dancers.
The movie will tell the backstory of Chulbul Pandey through flashbacks and we will also get to see the younger version of Chulbul Pandey. Mumbai Mirror quoted a source saying, “In the flashback portions, Chulbul is a man in his 20s, and Salman has been hitting the gym to get the required look.”
The movie is being directed by Prabhu Deva and this is his second collaboration with Salman. Arbaaz Khan will reprise his role as Makhhi, Sonakshi Sinha will reprise Chulbul’s wife Rajjo and the new addition is South star Sudeep who is playing the role of an antagonist.
Dabangg 3 is slated the hit the screens in December this year.
