The years 2020 is truly jinxed for Bollywood. After losing celebrities like Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Wajid Khan. A new death has left the industry shell shocked. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his home in Mumbai on June 14. The reason for his demise is not known as the police have not found any suicide note.
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s funeral is going to take place today evening in Mumbai. It was reported that his last rites will take place in Patna. But as opposed to the reports, the actor’s family has arrived in Mumbai to do the cremation. While Sushant’s father and the rest of the family members have reached Mumbai, one of his sisters is still stuck in the US.
Reportedly 8 members from Sushant Singh Rajput’s family have been granted permission during this COVID-hit times in Mumbai to be part of the last rites.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s body was taken to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital where the post-mortem was performed. Suffocation has been declared as the cause of death in the post-mortem report. The Bandra police have registered an accidental death case.
The ‘Raabta’ actor, was reported to be battling depression for the last few months. As per the latest reports, Sushant’s house help has opened up about the actor and reported the actor was quite disturbed since past few days. He further added that the late actor was not keeping well since couple of days.
Sushant’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ with Sanjana Sanghi that is helmed by Mukesh Chhabra will be released soon.
