18am Padi trailer: Mammootty & Prithviraj add star power to high school drama

The makers of Malayalam film ’18am Padi’ are out with the trailer of the high school drama. South star Dulquer Salman shared it on his social media handle. The presence of South superstar Mammootty adds star power to the movie.

The story of 18am Padi is all about the rivalry between the student of a government school and a private school. The plot gets thicker with the involvement of the army, the cops, and protests.

Besides Mammootty and Prithviraj Sukumaran and Arya, ’18am Padhi’ stars Unni Mukundan, Saniya Ayyappan and Priya Anand in other roles. Ahaana Krishna is also seen playing a crucial role in 18am Padhi.

Written and directed by Shankar Ramakrishnan, the film is bankrolled by August Cinema, which is jointly run by filmmaker Santosh Sivan, entrepreneur Shaji Nadesan and actor Arya.

’18am Padhi’ is produced by August Cinema and will be releasing on July 5, 2019 in cinemas.

Mammootty will also be seen in  Mamangam’ . He is playing the role of a fiery ‘Chaaver’ (warrior) in the movie. It revolves around the life of these warriors who plot to defeat the Zamorin rulers. ‘Mamangam’ is all set to release in the last quarter of 2019!
