4 yrs of Dishoom: Varun Dhawan teases a sequel and recalls when John Abraham ate 21 Watermelons in a day
Varun Dhawan, John Abraham, Akshaye Khanna, and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer action flick ‘Dishoom’ clocked 4 years. The action-comedy was commercially successful at the box office. The Rohit Dhawan directorial had minted more than Rs 150 crore worldwide. On the special occasion Varun Dhawan shared a picture of himself and John Abraham recalling some fun moments from the shoot.

Varun also shared an unknown fact about John Abraham and wrote how he ate 21 watermelons in a day.
Varun took to his social media handle and wrote, “This was one of the best teams I worked with . 2 of my elder brothers always had my back. Maybe its time to get the band back together. Also, John ate 21 watermelons in one day while filming in the dessert.”

Last year, a Mumbai Mirror report stated that team Dishoom will reunite for the sequel. They had added the sequel will go on floor by the end of 2020. However, there was no confirmation from the makers.
As per recent developments, sources reported to Mumbai Mirror that Rohit Dhawan has locked the first draft of the story. The sequel will have Varun Dhawan’s character on a mission to track a threat.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan is awaiting the release of Coolie No 1. A David Dhawan directorial the film has Sara Ali Khan as the female lead. The release of the film has been postponed due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
