Unfair and Lovely: Randeep Hooda-Ileana D’Cruz roped in for social comedy

Actors Randeep Hooda and Ileana D’Cruz have been roped in by Sony Pictures Films India for the upcoming comedy movie, “Unfair & Lovely”. The directorial debut of Balwinder Singh Janjua will deal with “India’s obsession with fair skin.”
The film is backed by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Movie Tunnel Productions.

Randeep Hooda took to social media to share the news. He wrote “Har koi fair, lovely nahi hota, aur har koi lovely, fair nahi hota. Nahi samjhe? 😄 Sab samajh jaoge in my next #UnfairNLovely Really excited to be shooting this one with the beautiful @Ileana_Official and my superb director @BalwinderJanjua @sonypicsprodns @sonypicsindia.”

Set in Haryana, Unfair And Lovely chronicles the story of a dusky woman and her fight against colour discrimination. The movie is slated to release next year.
