Bob Biswas: Abhishek Bachchan to play lead in Shah Rukh Khan’s next production film
Abhishek Bachchan has been signed in to play the lead role in Shah Rukh Khan's next production film Bob Biswas.
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment — which has recently produced several films including Badla and Class of 83 — has now announced yet another project starring Abhishek Bachchan.

The official handle of Red Chillies Entertainment posted a photo of Jr Bachchan along with Shah Rukh Khan and made an announcement that Abishek Bachchan has been roped in for a film Bob Biswas. Notably, the film will be directed by Diva Annapurna Ghose.
According to reports, Director Sujoy Ghose will be associated for the project.
The film will be based on the life of fictional characters in Indian cinema, Bob Biswas from Vidya Balan starrer-Kaahani. For the unversed, Bob is an ordinary-looking, Kolkata based middle-age man who is actually a cold-blooded contract killer who has been associated with his trademark line, “Nomoshkar, ek minute” since 2012.
The character was played by Saswata Chatterjee and since the arrival of the first part of Kaahani, fans have been eagerly waiting to know more about this guy and his story.

Notably, Red Chillies Entertainment is an Indian film production and distribution company established by none other than Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan in 2003. It was transformed from the defunct Dreamz Unlimited.
