Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet and Sidharth Malhotra come togeher for Indra Kumar's next titled 'Thank God'
After the success of ‘Total Dhamaal’, Ajay Devgn and Indra Kumar had declared that they are reuniting once again for a comedy film. The project was announced in December 2019, as a co-production between Ajay Devgn and T-Series. Now the makers have revealed the official title of the movie and it is called Thank God. The movie also features Rakul Preet and Sidharth Malhotra in pivotal roles.
According to bollywoodhungama.com, Thank God is about a couple of goodnatured, goofy men who are out to reform society, and their hilarious adventures.
The title was revealed by Rakul Preet Singh in an interview with the leading daily. Rakul Preet Singh also revealed that she was to start shooting for Thank God on April 10. However, due to coronavirus, the shooting schedule was cancelled. She added that the makers are planning to release the movie in 2021.
Ajay Devgn, on the work front, was last seen in period drama ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’. The film had crossed the prestigious ₹250 crore mark in 24 days since it released. The movie also featured Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles.
Devgn also has a Luv Ranjan film with Ranbir Kapoor. He also has ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra. He will be seen in sports drama Maidaan. The movie is based on how the Indian football team, under the guidance of Syed Abdul Rahim, brought glory to the country during the years of 1952 to 1962. Ajay Devgn will play the role of Indian football coach and manager, Syed Abdul Rahim.
Ajay Devgn will also be seen marking his debut in Telugu Film Industry with magnum opus ‘RRR’.
