Akshay Kumar To Rap For His Upcoming Film Housefull 4? Details Inside

Akshay Kumar is all set to rap for his new upcoming movie Housefull 4. This is not the first time he will sing.

Not only he is good at acting and doing his own stunts, Akshay Kumar can also sing. Khiladi of Bollywood is all set to rap for another film. Before this, Akshay Kumar had crooned songs for his previous films such as Singh Is Kinng, Special 26, and It’s Entertainment. If the report is to be believed, Akshay Kumar is all set to turn rapper for his upcoming film Housefull 4.

According to a report in mid-day, Farhad Samji who has earlier with Akshay Kumar in Its Entertainment in 2014, and for which Akshay Kumar had lent his voice. Now, Farhad is directing yet another film, Housefull 4, and he wants Akshay to rap for this, which he has never done before. Even producer Sajid Nadiadwala jumped on this bandwagon and supported this idea. The director-producer duo finally convinced Akshay to rap!

As quoted by mid-day, “Farhad Samji, who was one of the directors of It’s Entertainment, had convinced Akshay to croon the title track of the comedy. This time too, it was his idea that Akki explores his rapping skills. While producer Sajid Nadiadwala jumped at the idea, the producer-director due then convinced their leading man to give his nod. The Tanishk Bagchi composition us yet to be recorded. The makers are yet to decide if it should be a solo track or one that sees him croon alongside Mika Singh.”

Another actor who has rapped his own songs is Ranveer Singh for Gully Boy. Akki might just give Ranveer a tough competition!

As per reports, the film is divided into two parts, the present, and the ‘Baahubali’ era. The second half will be a comical take on SS Rajamouli’s period drama.

Akshay is currently busy shooting for Sooryavanshi with Katrina Kaif.

The film stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde, Rana Daggubati, Chunkey Panday, Saurabh Shukla, Johnny Lever, Jamie Lever in significant roles.
