Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s next film titled Pushpa?

South superstar Allu Arjun — who was last seen in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo co-starring Pooja Hegde — will next be seen in Sukumar’s film which is tentatively titled #AA20. The official title of Sukumar’s directorial to be unveiled on Allu Arjun’s birthday (April 8, 2020).

A day before the official announcement, there are various reports doing rounds on social media that makers of the film have locked the title ‘Pushpa’ for Allu Arjun’s next. Prior to Pushpa, there were reports stating that Allu and Sukumar’s next will be titled Seshachalam. However, the makers refuted the rumours by saying that they have not finalized the title of the Stylish Star’s movie.

Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna will play the female lead opposite Allu Arjun in Pushpa.

According to reports, Pushpa is the name of Rashmika Mandanna is Sukumar’s directorial. The regular shoot of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna is likely to begin from May but due to Coronavirus pandemic, it is likely to be delayed.

The film Pushpa is based on the backdrop of red sanders smuggling in Seshachalam forests in Chittor district in Andhra Pradesh. The role of the villain is likely to be played by Vijay Sethupathy.

As per the reports, Mahesh Babu was supposed to play the lead in Sukumar’s directorial venture but due to some creative differences with the makers, the superstar walked out of the project. The makers offered it to Allu Arjun who accepted.

Allu Arjun is playing a lorry driver, Vijay Sethupathi is essaying a forest officer whereas Rashmika Mandanna as a village belle. The movie also features Prakash Raj and Jagapati Babu in pivotal roles.

It is to be noted that Pushpa marks the Allu Arjun’s third collaboration with Sukumar as they have previously worked together in Arya and Arya 2.
