Megastar Amitabh Bachchan rang in his 79th birthday today(October 11). Big B, who is also an avid social media user shared a collage of his pictures to ring on his special day. But he got his age wrong. His daughter, Shweta Bachchan, was quick to take to the comments section and correct him.

Bachchan, who turns 79 today, wrote he is turning 80. His daughter Shweta Bachchan corrected him by simply dropping a comment that read, “79th ♥️
The megastar received comments from his granddaughter Navya, actors Ranveer Singh and Bhumi Pednekar and others too on the post. Amitabh’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda shared a hail emoji. Ranveer called him gangster, Bhumi wrote Happy Birthday Sir.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen in Chehre with Emraan Hashmi. He also has a series of projects lined up such as Jhund, Brahmāstra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He also has Mayday with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Big B will be seen in Good Bye, Uunchai and Nag Ashwin’s untitled film. The actor will be sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone in a remake of the Hollywood flick The Intern.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently back to hosting his popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati on television.
