AK Vs AK: Anil Kapoor And Anurag Kashyap Pull Each Others Leg On Twitter

‘Sacred Games’ fame, Vikramaditya Motwane will be soon releasing his much anticipated film, ‘AK Vs AK’ on Netflix, featuring Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap. The film, we heard, revolves around a Bollywood star’s tryst with stardom and it also highlights the ugly journey of a director and actor’s career. Ahead the release of this project, the filmmaker and the actor share verbal spat on Twitter and they target each other over their International fame.

Looks like the actor and the director duo are already on the promotional mode, as they share some witty comments for each other on Twitter today. It all started with Anil Kapoor congratulating Netflix’s ‘Delhi Crime’ team for bagging the Emmy Awards. The star has also tagged Shefali Shah and wrote that it is great to see actors from India getting ‘international recognition’. Reacting to this post of AK, Kashyap wrote, “Nice to see some deserving people get international recognition. Waise, aapka Oscar kidhar hain? No? Achha… nomination?,” and that’s how they started  giving tit for tat replies to their tweets respectively.

Talking about their upcoming Netflix film, ‘AK Vs Ak’, the plot is reportedly set around the life of a filmmaker who looses all his money in a big-budget film, which miserably flops at the box office. While Kashyap will portray the director, Anil will portray the silver screen star.
