Anushka Sharma to travel with hubby Virat Kohli on Team India’s US Tour 

Owning to the surging Coronavirus cases several foreign countries temporarily imposed a ban on direct flights from India. Lately, the COVID-19 tally has shown a descend decline across all the states in the country. The Indian cricket team on the other side also received good news ahead of their flight to the United Kingdom for their upcoming matches. The families of the Indian team players are now allowed to travel along with them on their US tours. Thus Anushka Sharma will be traveling with hubby Virat Kohli on the US tour.

According to the UK government’s regulations apparently, only elite sportspersons are allowed to travel to the country alongside a few of their family members. The country has also imposed strict quarantine norms for them. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) including the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) were reportedly in talks with the UK government over players taking their family members on the tour.

According to ESPNCricinfo, the families of cricketers (Indian teams) would leave from India on a chartered flight that would land in London on June 3. From London, the Indian team will move to Southampton, the venue for the WTC final. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli will also travel alongside other players.

“As per the bio-safety protocols established for the event, in line with UK government and Public Health England requirements, the Indian men’s team will arrive in the UK on 3 June 2021 via a charter flight and carrying evidence of a negative PCR Test,” the ICC said in a media release recently. 

Anushka and Virat are one such couple, who never fails to inspire millions of their fans with their social media PDA’s. The actress makes time from her busy schedule to attend his matches in order to cheer him.
