Bharti Singh, Husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa Granted Bail By Mumbai Court In Drugs Case
Mumbai Court has granted bail to comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa in drugs case.
Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday in connection with the seizure of 86.5 grams of ganja found at their Mumbai’s Andheri residence. Earlier on Saturday, a team of NCB officials also conducted raids at their Mumbai residence.
According to the NCB officers, Bharti and Haarsh accepted that they use narcotic substances during questioning. Soon after the court order, the couple filed bail pleas through advocate Ayaz Khan. Later, they also underwent a medical examination at Mumbai’s Sion Hospital on November 22. However, now, the couple has been granted bail by a special court in Mumbai.

The couple was granted bail by the magistrates court on a bond of Rs 15,000 each. They have been charged under sections 20(b)(ii)(A) and NDPS 1985. Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of the NCB, Mumbai said, “Charges of consumption of drugs have been invoked against them.”
The drug issue came into the limelight following the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14. Ever since the NCB has been arresting drug consumers and peddlers.
