‘Breaking Bad’ Actor Bob Odenkirk Collapses On ‘Better Call Saul’ Set
Bob Odenkirk collapses after suffering a heart attack while in production on the sixth and final season of AMC's 'Better Call Saul'.
Bob Odenkirk is best known for his role as crooked lawyer Saul Goodman on the AMC crime drama series ‘Breaking Bad’ and its spin-off ‘Better Call Saul.’ On Tuesday, the actor collapsed on location in Albuquerque, New Mexico while shooting for the sixth and final season of the Breaking Bad spin-off, reported Deadline. Soon after, the crew members surrounded him and called an ambulance.
On Wednesday, Bob’s representatives told USA TODAY in a statement. “We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident. He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side.”
“(Odenkirk) and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side, The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery,” read the statement.
Bob’s Breaking Bad co-stars also showed their love and concern. The actor’s son, Nate Odenkirk, tweeted, “He’s going to be okay.”

The sixth and final season was originally slated to premiere this year before the COVID-19 pandemic, however, it pushed it and is likely to premiere in 2022.
