BTS members crowned as IFPI’s 2020 Global Recording Artist of the year

BTS members have paved their way and ARMY’s say that the seven members have earned fame with their hard work and talent. Jungkook, Jin, Jimin, Suga, J-hope, RM and V have been crowned as the IFPI’s 2020 Global Recording Artist of the year. Their fans congratulated them on social media platforms.

BTS’s most recent hits include Dynamite, Savage Love Remix and Life Goes On. With these tracks, the seven members ruled the social media and music charts during the pandemic lockdown. Their fans say that the seven members have literally ‘paved the way’ after they were crowned as the top artist of the year by IFPI. Renowned artists -Taylor Swift, Drake, The Weeknd and Billie Eilish are in the top five list.

IFPI Chief Executive Frances Moore stated in a statement that BTS is a global phenomenon now. “They have had another outstanding year, releasing three albums, and continually finding creative and engaging ways to share their story with the world. They truly show the power that music has to bring joy and happiness to people the world over. We would like to congratulate RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook and we are excited to see what they have in store next,” read the statement.

For the unversed, BTS members would be releasing their individual logs throughout March month, as they are promoting the BE album.
