Cobra: Motion poster of Chiyaan Vikram’s next is out

Kollywood superstar Chiyaan Vikram will soon be seen in the upcoming release Cobra. The talented star had won hearts with his performance in action thriller ‘Kadram Kondan’ early this year. He is at present busy with the shoot of the Ajay Gnanamuthu directorial. On the auspicious occasion of Christmas, the makers have unveiled the motion poster of Cobra.

The film’s director Ajay Gnanamuthu yesterday took to his Twitter account to share the motion poster.

In the motion poster, we see two snakes slithering to form the word Cobra, set against a golden crown. The two black Cobra’s hiss and strike the crown as if fighting for it. The title motion poster also confirms that the film is a Summer 2020 release.

Cobra reportedly also stars Srinidhi Shetty, KS Ravikumar, and Irfan Pathan, who will be making his debut. Cobra is being produced by 7 Screen Studio and Viacom studios. Actor Teejay of Asuran fame too might have a pivotal role. But there has been no confirmation of the same as yet.

Vikram will next be seen in Mani Ratnam’s ambitious project inspired by the classic novel Ponniyin Selvan. The film also has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Jayram, Sarath Kumar among others.

Ponniyin Selvan has gone on floors this month after nearly a year of pre-production. The first leg of shooting will commence in Thailand and will last for 50 days.
