Congress to declare Ashok Gehlot as Rajasthan Chief Minister soon

After emerging victorious in Rajasthan Assembly election, Congress is likely to declare its Chief Minister soon. According to reports, Ashok Gehlot will be the 14th Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

It is to be noted that Rajasthan Chief, Sachin Pilot was one of the most trusted leaders and ahead in the Chief Ministerial candidate list but Congress is expected to announce Ashok Gehlot as Rajasthan Chief Minister.

“Sachin Pilot refused to back down in the race for the top job, was the first to meet with Rahul Gandhi and it was a “good meeting,” sources told NDTV.

On the counting day, when Sachin Pilot was leading in his constituency, Wikipedia went ahead and declared Sachin Pilot as the 14th Chief Minister of Rajasthan before Congress could make any decision.
