Bollywood’s power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to tie the knot in Italy on November 14 and 15 in the presence of family and close friends. They had left for Italy on Saturday with their family for their intimate wedding affair and the festivities have already begun with the Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony on November 13.

One of the most-awaited nuptials of this year are just 2 days away and we have learnt that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have a special request for their guests in regards to the wedding gifts – Just 2 more days to go for the much-awaited wedding of the year between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The duo had left for Lake Como, Italy for their intimate wedding affair 2 days back and since then, their fans are eagerly awaiting for the nuptials to take place at the iconic location. However, the wedding venue has been converted into a fortress and no outsiders are being permitted throughout the wedding ceremony. Amidst all this, the reception cards have gone out and they have a certain set of instructions for the guests. Both Deepika and Ranveer don’t want any gifts from their guests. Yes! Both of them want their guests to direct any gifts as donations to charity they both support that is Deepika Padukone’s The Live Love Laugh Foundation. Not just this, they have requested the guests to provide certain credentials along with the cheques that they would want to give forth as donations to the foundation. The two took the social media by storm when they revealed in a joint statement on Twitter that the two will be getting hitched on November 14-15. The couple are tying the knot in one of the most expensive destinations in the world and have set up certain rules to be followed by their family and friends. The ‘Padmaavat’ stars are making sure that their small gathering remains intimate by asking guests not to carry their mobile phones to the venue and will also not be accepting any gifts. Instead, they have asked guests to donate the money to Deepika‘s charity The Live Love Laugh Foundation.

The reception cards that the couple had sent out had the instructions for the guests.

As reported by a source to Midday, “Ranveer and Deepika are committed to the cause and want to involve their guests in the act of kindness.”

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will be tying the knot as per South Indian and North Indian customs and will later hold two receptions, one in Bengaluru and one in Mumbai, for their family and friends. The one in Bengaluru is on November 21 at The Leela Palace and the one in Mumbai is on November 28 and is at the Grand Hyatt hotel.
