Disha Patani To Romance Shahid Kapoor In Shashank Khaitan’s Next?

For a very long time the reports were making buzz that Shahid Kapoor was planning to collaborate with Shashank Khaitan. Before, the actor and director’s duo could treat their fans with anything, we got out hands on the reports which reveals that they are collaborating for a film. Apparently, the film also feature Disha Patani and it would be bankrolled by Karan Johar’s production house.

Shahid Kapoor’s previous film bankrolled by Karan Johar was ‘Shaandaar’, which also starred Alia Bhatt in the key roles. However, the film couldn’t pull out great success at the box-office. Now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, a source while talking about Shahid’s collaboration with Shashank informed, “Disha Patani has been signed on for Shashank’s next. It’s titled Yoddha and will have Disha and Shahid romance each other on screen for the first time. In fact, the film is a big actioner being mounted on a lavish scale. Along with Shahid, Disha too will have an action packed role in the movie, details of which has been tightly kept under wraps for now. The team was scouting for an actress who’s great with stunts and action sequences and they locked Disha very recently. An official announcement will be made soon.”

The actor and the makers are yet to officially make the announcement of the same. Reportedly, the film has been titled, ‘Yoddha’ and Shahid has already signed on the dotted lines.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor had been busy shooting for his sports drama ‘Jersey’. The actor is said now started the preparations for ‘Yoddha’. On the other side, Disha Patani will be soon seen sharing the screen space with  Salman Khan in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. She had also been prepping for the Ekta Kapoor’s film, ‘KTina’.
