Who does not know Disha Vakani aka Dayaben of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashah? The popular TV actress has been away from the comedy show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for more than two years but people still want her to return to the show.

Disha Vakani, who has been ruling the hearts of the people with her comic character, might be back on SAB TV’s popular sitcom TMKOC. But did you know how much Disha Vakani was demanding for her comeback? The amount will surely leave you stunned.

According to a report in DNA, Disha Vakani had asked for a good hike in her fee structure. Reportedly, she used to charge Rs 1.25 lakh per episode and she had asked them to give her around Rs 1.50 lakh per episode.

Also, the report suggested that she has apparently asked the makers if she can work 15 days, in the 11 am to 6 pm shift.

It is to be noted that Dayaben has been on a hiatus since she delivered a baby girl in November 2017.

In TMKOC, Dayaban used to play the role of Daya Jethalal Gada. As the entire country is in state of uncertainty over Coronavirus outbreak, Disha Vakani had recently posted a video clip from her show featuring herself as Dayaben and Dilip Joshi as Jethalal.

There have been many speculations doing rounds on social media regarding her return to Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, she reportedly refused to return to the show for unknown reason and makers are contemplating to take a fresh face on board to play the iconic character.

Disha Vakani tied the with Mayur Pandya in a close-knitted ceremony on November 24, 2015. Besides acting in TV shows, she has also worked in Bollywood movies like Devdas and Jodha Akbar before Taarak Mehta happened to her.

Taarak Mehta is the longest-running Indian sitcom and has entered the Limca Book of World Records for this milestone.
