Emmys 2019 Winners List: Game of Thrones takes best drama

Game of Thrones takes best drama as Fleabag wins big at Emmy's 2019, here is the list

The 71st Primetime Emmy’s Television Awards night kicked off on Sunday around 5 pm in Los Angeles. The biggest win as expected went to fiction drama series ‘Game Of Thrones’. The show took home outstanding drama series, plus Peter Dinklage won best supporting actor for his performance as Tyrion Lannister in GOT. The drama series had a stupendous 32 nominations this year.

It was a big night for actress-writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge who won Best Actress-Comedy and Best Writing-Comedy for her show Fleabag. The show also won Best Comedy Series and Best Director. Jodie Comer of Killing Eve won Best Actress – Drama. Bill Hader won Best Actor – Comedy for his turn in Barry; Tony Shalhoub and Alex Borstein took home the Best Supporting Actor – Comedy and Best Supporting Actress – Comedy for their roles on The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Chernobyl won three awards in the Limited Series category. Saturday Night Live won Best Variety Sketch Series and Last Week Tonight With John Oliver won Best Variety Talk Show.
