Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu Season 5: Jr NTR To Host Show; Promo Out

Young Tiger Jr NTR is all set to back on the small screen. Yes, Jr NTR is making a comeback on television with the new season of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 5. Fans are over the moon as the quiz show is coming back with its fifth season after nearly four years. The show also marks the TV comeback of the Telugu superstar after four long years. Today Young Tiger took to social media and shared the first promo of the much-awaited show.

He wrote, “I’ll be waiting to meet you on the hot seat.”

The popular actor looks dapper in a black suit with a thick moustache. The game show is the rehash version of MEK- Meelo Evaru Kooteshwarudu, which was earlier aired on Star Maa.

Jr NTR had recently shot for the teaser and other promotional material of the show. The promo was directed by popular filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas in a special set built-in Annapurna Studios.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, just like Kaun Banega Crorepati’s latest season, the makers of the Telugu version are also planning to conduct the show following all the COVID-19 protocols. The auditions across the two Telugu speaking states will be conducted virtually. Jr NTR’s MEK is slated for a run of 60 episodes in the forthcoming season 5. The new season will air on a different General Entertainment Channel (GEC).
