Facebook, Instagram And WhatsApp Servers Face Downtime Globally
Thousands of users globally complained about facing downtime on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp simultaneously on Monday (October 4). Mark Zuckerberg owned company has issued an official apology
On Monday (October 4), Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram users complained about facing downtime on the platform. These Mark Zuckerberg owned social media platforms aren’t working for millions of users due to a major outage. Facebook took to it’s official Twitter handle to issue an official apology.
The error problem on Facebook is said to be with the Domain Name System (DNS). It allows the web addresses to take users to their destinations. Apparently, a similar outage at cloud company Akamai Technologies took down multiple websites in July this year.
We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
