Adipurush: Fire breaks out on the sets of Prabhas’s starrer in Mumbai
A fire has broken out at Gerg studio in Goregaon West on the sets of Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan's starrer 'Adipurush' in Mumbai.
Earlier, this morning that the makers of Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Adipurush’ announced that they have begun the shooting of the film. However, a tragedy seems to have struck as fire broke out on the sets of the movie. According to a report in Mid-day, a fire has broken out at Gerg studio in Goregaon West, which is located near Bangur Nagar sports complex. Soon after, 8 fire engines were seen at the spot, and the fire was brought under control.
A report in Bollywood Life states that the fire has been brought under control, however, there’s has been damaged to the film’s grand constructed set, and props are expected to be borne. The lead actors Saif Ali Khan and Prabhas were not on the sets of the film, thus no harm has been done.
Taking to his social media space, Prabhas shared a photo while announcing that they have kickstarted the shoot, “#Adipurush aarambh. #SaifAliKhan @omraut #BhushanKumar @vfxwaala @rajeshnair29 @tseriesfilms @retrophiles1 @tseries.official #TSeries.”
‘Adipurush’ will be shot in Hindi and Telugu and will release in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar of T-Series and Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. It will be directed by Om Raut and is slated to release on August 11, 2022.
