The bubbly actress of Bollywood, Alia Bhatt had made her Bollywood debut with the film, ‘Student Of The Year’. Alia Bhatt Rejected These Five Big Films

Neerja 2016

Ram Madhvani’s directorial, ‘Neerja’ starred Sonam Kapoor and the film went on to become of the hits at the box-office. The film has also bought Sonam the National Award. However, Alia Bhatt was the first choice for Neerja’s character. While we hear that the actress had rejected the film, there are also few reports which stated that the producer of the film, Atul Kasbekar felt that she(Alia) might not fit the bill due to her short height.

Thugs Of Hindostan 2018

Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan starrer was one of the biggest flops at the box-office in 2018. The film also starred Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles. As per the reports, Alia Bhatt was first offered Fatima Sana Shaikh’s role. Alia rejected the film because she felt that her character was irrelevant and not meaty enough.

Raabta 2017

Dinesh Vijan’s directorial starred Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput in the key roles. Kriti’s role was first offered to Alia Bhatt and she apparently backed out of the film, without giving any reasons. Later, the producers, Homi Adajania and Vijan had to bring Kriti on board for the role.

Golmaal Returns 2008

Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade’s film, ‘Golmaal’ Returns went to do a great business at the box-office. As per the reports, the Alia Bhatt was offered Bebo’s role in the Rohit Shetty’s directorial. However, she couldn’t do this because of her issues with dates.

Saaho 2019

The extravaganza film, ‘Saaho’ starred Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor. Before Shraddha, the role was apparently offered to Alia to share the screen space with the south superstar. The actress is said to have rejected the project because the role didn’t excite her.
