‘Good News’: Diljit Dosanjh & Kiara Advani kick off shoot for the rom-com

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar are coming together to share screen space in Karan Johar’s upcoming release ‘Good News’ that is being helmed by Raj Mehta. The rom-com also features Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles. The movie was announced earlier this year by Dharma Productions.

Today, the shoot of the film has kickstarted with Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.

In a video shared by Dharma Productions, we can see Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani clapping off the start of the film without Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar.

In the video, we can see Diljit and Kiara discussing that Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan are never late for the shoot and that they are missing them. Officially, they started the shoot of the movie with this video.

‘Good News’ revolves around the story of Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor, who play a married couple trying to have a baby. Kiara and Diljit will reportedly play a Punjabi married couple in the film. Though Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor have worked together in films like ‘Ajnabee’, ‘Kambakkht Ishq’, ‘Tashan’ and ‘Bewafaa’, this is the first time that Kiara and Diljit will be working together.

‘Good News’ is slated to release tentatively on July 19, 2019.
