Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij Tests Positive For Coronavirus

As warned by WHO, the pandemic Coronavirus started to record a  sudden surge in the infection rate amidst the wedding season and winters. Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij now tests positive for COVID-19, days after he gets a trial dose of the newly made vaccine Covaxine.

Anil Vij took to his official Twitter handle and shared the news with his followers. The health minister has been admitted to the Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt. Announcing about testing positive for the COVID-19 tests, he  requested the people who had come in his contact to get tested respectively.

I have been tested Corona positive. I am admitted in Civil Hospital Ambala Cantt. All those who have come in close contact to me are advised to get themselves tested for corona.

Talking about the vaccine, Covaxin is being developed indigenously by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Apparently, the scientists who were making this vaccine said that it had successfully completed the interim analysis of Phase 1 and Phase 2 trials. And they would soon initiate the third phase of trials.

For the unversed, PM Narendra Modi recently hosted a virtual all-party meeting to discuss the second wave of pandemic. He also stated that we could expect COVID-19 vaccines in just few weeks.
