IRCTC scam case: Tejashwi Yadav, Rabri Devi granted bail by court
Rashtriya Janata Dal acting president and former deputy chief minister of Bihar, Tejaswi Yadav, and his mother Rabri Devi were granted bail in a corruption case by Patiala House Court on Friday. The court announced a bail after both of them furnished a safety bond of Rs 1 lakh each.

Hearing the bail plea, the judge took just a few minutes to announce the decision and granted the bail plea. The names of RJD leader and Union minister Prem Chand Gupta, his wife Sarla Gupta and a firm Lara projects were also mentioned in the chargesheet.
According to the chargesheet, the IRCTC official and the former CM have been accused of allegedly misusing their position for granting sub-lease of the rights of two railway hotels at Puri and Ranchi to Ms Sujata Hotel Pvt. Ltd. This firm was owned by Vijay and Vinay Kochhar. This is one of alleged scam due which Chief Minister Nitish Kumar separated his RJD and joined BJP in 2017.
