Irrfan Khan Death Anniversary: Babil reveals having suicidal thoughts post-actor’s death

In 2020, one of the most talented stars of cinema, Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29. The actor’s untimely demise was a shock for his near and dear ones. Though it has been over a year of his absence on-screen, he still manages to rule millions of hearts.

On his first death anniversary, Irrfan Khan’s son Babil revealed that he was depressed and had suicidal thoughts after the actor’s demise last year. In an interview with the Times of India, he said when his father passed away, his mother-Sutapa was surprised at how well he was taking it. But after two days of Irrfan Khan’s demise, he crashed.

Further, he said that everything shut off and he went into a deep, deep depression, which is hard to even explain. Babil said that he had no will to wake up and was very suicidal. He said that he was done and did not have any will to survive.

Babil said that he struggled a lot with it and during his tough phase, his mother was the strength. He also called her the strength of our family.

He said that after Irrfan passed away, he has learned a lot of other things through the pain. He revealed that at the age of 16, he adopted the personality of being Irrfan Khan’s son. Not being Babil, but being Irrfan Khan’s son., but after his death, he had to let go of that identity, to find himself. He said that he is still doing it and now he can say that he has let go of a certain identity that was not him.

Meanwhile, Babil is all set to make his acting debut. He has also begun the shooting for his film, ‘Qala.’
