Janhvi Kapoor Reveals Once A Troll Said, “Good That Your Mother Is Not Around”

The glittering industry of Bollywood is always under the radar, however, the nepotism debate post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise has got the attention of whole nation. Oflate industry affairs have become quite challenging for the B-town starkids, as they were heavily criticised on online media for last few months. ‘The Kargil Girl’ actress, Janhvi Kapoor now opens up about the criticism and she reveals how a troll once said that, “Good that your mother is not around”.

While talking to Bollywood Hungama, Janhvi spilled the beans on facing toxic comments on social media. She informed the portal, “I don’t allow myself to get bitter about it. When my first film came I even got comments like…good that your mother is not around to see this…I can’t allow myself to get bitter or hurt. I’d rather see the criticism as an opportunity to better myself. I would rather live in a bubble where everything is okay and then try to improve myself.”

“I don’t know why, it didn’t occur to me. Maybe I was too naïve. Maybe I should have thought about it. But I do know I can never be like her. You know better than anyone else that no one can do what she could. I’d just be happy to select the right roles and do them my way. I’d never dream of trying to do it her way,” she further added.

Janhvi recently treated her fans with the film, ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, which was helmed by Sharan  Sharma and produced by Karan Johar. The actress will be next seen in ‘Roohi Afzana’, the film which is being directed by Hardik Mehta.
