Kanchana 3 Actress Ri Djavi Alexander Files Complaint After Photographer Ask Sexual Favour

Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 3 actress, Ri Djavi Alexander has recently filed a complaint against a photographer Roopesh Kumar for demanding sexual favour. Acting on the complaint, MRC Nagar police has finally arrested Roopesh in an alleged sexual harassment case.

According to a report in India Today, the photographer blackmailed Ri Djavi Alexandra of releasing her obscene pictures on the Internet if she didn’t fulfil his demands. Chennai Police immediately investigated the matter and found her claims true. The photographer has been arrested and locked up in Puzhal jail.

The sexual harassment case came to light days months after a campaign #MeToo against sexual misconduct cases erupted on social media. Actress Amala Paul had also faced such horrifying experience; however, after she filed a complaint, the accused was arrested.

In a Police complaint, Alexandra claimed to have shot a photoshoot with Roopesh Kumar after he approached her of helping her to get a movie project. Once the photo shoot was wrapped, he started pestering her and asked her to sleep with him in return for getting work in Kollywood.

She further added that he went on and threatend her saying that either fulfil his desire or else he would spread morphed pictures of her on the internet which would destroy her reputation and prospects in the film industry, she explains in the complaint.

Based on the complaint, the police collect pieces of evidence against him and arrested him on Wednesday, 24 April. Notably, Ri Djavi Alexander is a Russian model, who is currently staying in Chennai. She played the role of Raghava Lawrence’s girlfriend Rosie in Kanchana 3.

Meanwhile, Kanchana 3, which features Oviyaa, Vedhika and Nikki Tamboli, is completing its first week on a high note. The movie has already earned more than Rs 20 crore at the Tamil Nadu box office in seven days.
