On September 9, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished Kangana Ranaut office Manikarnika Films Private Limited at Pali Hill, Bandra, citing alleged illegal constructions as the reason. Now, as per the latest report, the Queen actress has sent out a notice to the authorities.

According to a report in Times Now, Kangana has also sought a compensation of Rs 2 crore from BMC for damaging her property in Bandra.

On Sunday afternoon, the Tanu Weds Manu actress also met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, she was accompanied by her sister Rangoli Chandel. Talking to ANI after the meeting, Kangana said, “I met Governor Koshyari and told him about unjust treatment I’ve received. I hope justice will be given to me so that the faith of all citizens including young girls, is restored in the system. I am fortunate that the Governor listened to me like a daughter.”

Kangana, in a tweet, said that she will not be renovating the portions of her office that were demolished by the BMC, “I had my office opening on 15th Jan, shortly after corona hit us, like most of us I haven’t worked ever since, don’t have money to renovate it, I will work from those ruins keep that office ravaged as a symbol of a woman’s will that dared to rise in this world #KanganaVsUddhav,” she tweeted.

A day after meeting the Maharashtra Government, the actress left for her hometown Manali, on a Monday morning, she tweeted that she was leaving Mumbai with a “heavy heart” after being “terrorised” with attempts to demolish her office.
