Kareena Kapoor To Collaborate With ‘Kahaani’ Director Sujoy Ghosh?

Kareena Kapoor, who was last seen in the comedy-drama ‘Angrezi Medium’ (2020) alongside Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan is reportedly all set to join hands with ‘Kahaani’ director Sujoy Ghosh for a thriller film.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, “Kareena has been on the lookout for a good thriller for a while now and her hunt has finally come to an end with Sujoy’s next film. The two are all excited for this collaboration and looking forward to starting shooting for it from February. It will be shot at Darjeeling and Kalimpong in North-East India over a period of two months.”

Reportedly, the film will be produced by Jay Shewakramani and just like Sujoy’s previous films, this is also set to be a thriller, and will be loaded with twists and turns. It will go on the floors in the month of February in India.

Kareena will essay the lead role in the film, and many more acclaimed actors will also come on board for the film. All key characters have been cast and the team is now expected to proceed towards the pre-production stage in the hills of North East, said the report.

Talking about the cast, “It has names who have won over the audience with their performance in the OTT world over the last 2 years.”

On the work front, Kareena will be seen next in ‘Laal Singh Chadha’ with Aamir Khan, and next in Karan Johar’s ‘Takht,’ a historical drama featuring an ensemble cast, including Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, and Alia Bhatt
