Bollywood actor, Kartik Aaryan enjoys a great fan following on his social media handles. And thus the actor has been grabbing great brand deals post delivering back-to-back hit films. He was endorsing one of the top Chinese phone brand, however, as per the latest reports he quits promoting this brand post IndiaVsChina clash at the Galwan Valley.

Although he has not made any official announcement so far, Kartik was endorsing Oppo. Surprisingly, on Wednesday he took to his social media handles and posted a picture flaunting his phone which an iPhone. As per the report in Mid-Day, a source while revealing about Kartik stepping back from endorsing the Chinese phone brand informed  that,”If you are an ambassador of a brand as a celebrity, then according to the business agreement, you cannot promote any other brand on social media. If you do this, then you can get caught in legal trouble.”

“Kartik has been out of Oppo. He has done this due to the current tension between India and China. Apart from this, it has also come to light that Kartik has become the first Bollywood celebrity to take this step. On June 18, CAIT, Confederation of All India Trades, wrote an open letter asking celebrities to leave endorsement of Chinese brands,” further added the source.

Indian government recently made the announcement of banning 59 mobile application, which include TikTok and other Chinese apps. Post pandemic Coronavirus crises, the nation is now focusing on becoming a self reliant country.
