Kartik Aaryan returns Red Chillies’ signing amount of Rs. 2 Cr?

A few weeks ago it was reported that Kartik Aaryan has been outcasted from Dharma Production’s upcoming film, Dostana 2, which was also suppose to star Janhvi Kapoor. The production house didn’t reveal the real reason stating it a dignified silence in a statement, however, media reports stated that the actor’s team was not cooperating with dates. And he also had issues in shooting with his alleged ex-flame Janhvi Kapoor. Amidst all the viral reports, Kartik Aaryan officially didn’t share anything with his fans about his exit. According to the latest reports, he lost yet another film. Reportedly, he has returned the signing amount of Rs. 2 Cr to Red Chillies.

The movie bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment was being helmed by Ajay Behl and it was tentatively titled, Goodbye Freddie. Kartik Aaryan was welcomed onboard to share the screen space with Katrina Kaif. Talking about Kartik’s exit from the project a source informed Bollywood Hungama, “Yes, Kartik Aaryan was to feature in Ajay Bahl’s social comedy that was being produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies. However, the actor has now walked out of the project that was supposed to commence shoot in a few months.”

The source further informs- apparently, creative differences developed between Kartik and the director Ajay Bahl due to which the actor decided on leaving the project. Kartik is said to be not quite much happy with the way the script has developed and it came out to be different from what all was narrated to him as a one-liner plot.

The report mentions that the actor apparently signed this movie somewhere around two years ago. Kartik Aaryan had signed on with Red Chillies over two years ago. And now he has returned the signing amount to the production house.
