It looks that the lead pair, Anurag Basu and Prerna Sharma would be reuniting in the upcoming episodes, as the new promo of the show features them together before a tragic incident takes place. The promo gives a glimpse of an unexpected twists that is about to be unveiled. Aamna Sharif, who plays the role Komolika can be seen holding a knife, while someone screams out loud. According to a report by Ahmedabad Mirror, a source stated that “Neither wants to play parents on screen. Also, the show wasn’t getting the expected ratings. So, Ekta has finally decided to pull the plug.” On the other side, reportedly, Komolika will die on the show and Anurag and Prerna will reunite after knowing the truth.
