Katrina Kaif has THIS to say on working in Telugu films
Katrina Kaif has said that she would like to work in Telugu films that have good scripts.
These days Katrina Kaif is busy promoting her upcoming movie Bharat. Today the actress went live on her Instagram handle and addressed a few questions asked by her fans. She mostly answered questions on Bharat. Also, the Zero actress spoke about working in Telugu movies. After her Bollywood debut Boom, Kat worked in a Telugu movie Malliswari in 2004, with Daggubati Venkatesh. She was in the lead role opposite him. In 2005, she appeared in an another Telugu movie Allari Pidugu, with Nandamuri Balakrishna and Charmy Kaur. In 2006, she appeared in the Malayalam thriller movie Balram vs. Tharadas that had Mammootty opposite her.

When a fan asked Katrina when she would do a Telugu movie, the actress said, “I did a couple of Telugu movies, one was with Venkatesh. Also, I did a Malayalam movie. I had to learn the languages and it’s tough. Telugu is much easier than Malayalam. Telugu movies have great content and if I find a good script, I would definitely do.”
Katrina couldn’t rule much down the South but she has ruled the Bollywood industry with movies like Welcome, Namastey London, Singh Is Kinng, Partner, Ek Tha Tiger, and Tiger Zinda Hai among others. She is today one of the top actresses in B-town.
In Bharat, she will be seen opposite Salman Khan. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie is releasing on June 5. Also, she will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s next Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar. The shoot will begin from May 6.
