Confirmed: Mahesh Babu to play lead in Geetha Govindam director’s next
After Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu will be seen playing the lead role in Geetha Govindham director Parasuram's next movie.
Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu — who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Sarileru Neekevvaru — is reported to have bagged yet another mega project. As per a report in Telugu website, Geetha Govindam director Parasuram has just announced his upcoming movie with Mahesh Babu.

Parasuram’s wish seems to be fulfilled soon as he has been trying hard for a long time to convince Mahesh Babu to star in his movie. Sarileru Neekevvaru Anthem
Earlier there were several reports claiming that Mahesh Babu and Parasuram’s upcoming has been shelved. Putting all the speculations and rumors to rest, Geetha Govindam director has confirmed that Maharshi star will play lead in his next.
The film will go on floors once Naga Chaitanya’s film wraps up. The film will be produced by none other than mega producer Allu Aravind under the banner of Geetha Arts.
On the other hand, Parasuram and Naga Chaitanya’ project has recently launched with a formal pooja ceremony. As per the reports, Parasuram and Naga Chaitanya’s movie which is being produced by 14 Reels Productions will be a remake of Bollywood flick Chhichhore.
The shoot of Parasuram and Naga Chaitanya’ film is expected to commence from May 2020, the makers are planning to release the film by the end of next year.
On the professional front, Mahesh Babu has already wrapped up the shoot of his much hyped movie Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed by Anil Ravipudi of F2 fame. The pre release event of Mahesh Babu starrer film is going to take place on 5th January 2020. As per the reports, Megastar Chiranjeevi is going to attend the event as Chief Guest.
Sarileru Neekevvaru is scheduled to hit the theaters on 10th January 2020.
