Manushi Chhillar To Make Her Bollywood Debut With Akshay Kumar’s THIS Film?

Manushi Chhillar — an Indian model and winner of Miss World 2017 — is likely to make her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar. Yes, if a report in Pinkvilla is believed, Manushi Chhillar will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Prithviraj Chauhan’s biopic, which is scheduled to go on floors in the latter half of 2019. The biopic will be produced by Yash Raj Film (YRF).

Manushi Chhillar represented Haryana at the Femina Miss India 2017 pageant in which she was declared the winner. She is the sixth representative from India to win the Miss World pageant. Currently, she is a brand ambassador for various brands such as Club Factory and Malabar Gold and Diamonds, one of the world’s largest retail jewellery groups. It is to be noted that Chhillar was nominated as the ‘Times Most Desirable Woman of India’ in 2018.

A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, “Manushi will be making her big Bollywood debut opposite none other than Akshay Kumar. She has been signed on for the Prithviraj Chauhan biopic that is expected to go on floors sometime towards the later half of this year. Chandraprakash Dwivedi is directing the historical drama and YRF is producing it.”

The source adds, “Manushi has shown a lot of promise from the time she became a national craze. She is not only pretty but a great performer, too. She will be essaying Sanyukta’s role and will be romantically paired opposite Akshay. Aditya Chopra feels she has a good screen presence and has also got her on board as one of the talents under his banner.”

Manushi Chhillar is currently gearing up for her Bollywood debut as the source said, “She is doing a lot of acting and dance workshops. She has been reading about the time zone in which the period saga is set in. It’s an epic love story that will be one of the biggest highlights from the production house in the coming years.”

Apart from this, earlier there were rumours doing the rounds that she will make her Bollywood debut with Farah Khan. It was also reported that, apart from a film with Farah Khan, Manushi has several Bollywood projects in her kitty.
