Maharashtra’s Akola district hit with an earthquake of moderate-intensity on Tuesday evening i.e June 23. The earthquake measured 3.3 on the Richter Scale and it occurred in the South area of Akola at 5.28 PM. 

As per the reports the tremors occurred 129 km South of Akola, Maharashtra at 17:28:07, reportedly said the National Centre for Seismology today. As per the reports, no immediate casualties or damage was reported at the place where earthquake occurred.

Recently the earthquake tremors were felt in Odisha on Monday, which apparently measured 3.6 on the Richter Scale occurred in Kasipur area of Rayagada district. No casualties were reported. Soon, after this, another medium-intensity earthquake had hit Chhattisgarh yesterday i.e Monday. It measured 3.6 on the Richter Scale occurred 125 kilometres east northeast of Jagdalpur at 7.46 pm. 

In last one month, the nation reported several low to moderate-intensity earthquake tremors, starting from Delhi to Gujarat, Odisha and now Maharashtra.
