Mumbai: Massive Fire Breaks Out In Mumbai’s MTNL Building, Almost 100 Trapped
A major fire broke out in Mumbai's MTNL's building which is located at SV Road in suburban Bandra
A massive fire broke out in Mumbai’s Bandra West area. According to reports, the fire is reported to have broken out in state-run telecom company MTNL’s building. If anything to go by reports, almost 100 people are feared trapped on the terrace of MTNL’s building in Bandra West, Mumbai.

As of now, 14 fire tenders have been rushed to douse the fire. The fire is said to be level four fire. According to NDTV, the fire is confined to the 3rd and 4th flour of the nine stories MTNL building, which is located at SV Road in suburban Bandra, report says.

An official told news agency ANI, the fire fighting operations are underway and many are trapped inside the smoke-filled nine-storey building at S V Road in suburban Bandra.
The fire incident took place a day after in which a man died in Colaba’s Churchill Chambers, Mumbai. Notably, more than 13 people were rescued in that fire incident.
According to reports, the deceased had gone to the innermost room of an apartment to protect himself from the fire. One of his neighbours inhaled a lot of smoke and had to be shifted to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The Fire Brigade rescued 13 others using ladders and other methods.
As of now, no one is reported to have injured in Mumbai’s MTNL fire incident.
